Why do you volunteer for Grampian Hospital Radio?

I once read somewhere “Radio talks to you, whereas TV talks at you” A statement which is so true. The voice of a Radio Presenter may be the only voice someone hears all day. You are their company. Playing songs which mean something to someone is a privilege. A requested song may remind them of a significant time in their life, whether that be an anniversary, birthday or loss. Lyrics can often express how someone may be feeling at that point in time. The song you play may also be the last song they ever hear.
